come move with us

Not at all! The Movement Haus is designed for every body, regardless of age, experience, or fitness level. Whether it's your first class or you've been dancing for years, you'll be welcomed and encouraged to move at your own pace.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and supportive athletic shoes or dance sneakers. Bring a water bottle and an open mind!

Each class includes a guided warm-up, rhythmic movement inspired by the traditions of West Africa and the African diaspora, joyful cardio, and a grounding cool-down. You'll leave feeling more connected, energized, and confident.

The Movement Haus is more than a dance class. We blend movement education, cultural tradition, and wellness to create experiences that help people reconnect with themselves and one another. Rooted in the rhythms of West Africa and the African diaspora, our classes are designed to inspire joy, build confidence, and remind every participant that movement belongs to every body
